I have been a keen collector and seller of vinyl records for over 35 years and currently based in Liverpool (UK). My musical tastes have changed a lot over that time, as I grew up in Coventry during the two tone era (hence the Three Minute Hero name). Later, I was at Uni in Newcastle Upon Tyne when the rave scene hit so was well into house music, techno and hip hop, plus the usual pop stuff. As I've got older, my tastes have mellowed a bit, as dancing all night in a field is no longer feasible. So, I've also been listening to more jazz, reggae, dub, soft rock, ambient, classical and country records in my collection now.
Items that I am selling are physically in my possession and will be run through an ultrasonic vinyl record cleaner before being listed (unless they are new & sealed).
Orders are normally sent out via Royal Mail Tracked 48 within one working day, safely and securely, in new professional rigid mailers. Larger orders (8+ items) may be sent via a reliable courier. The exact postage cost will be calculated depending on weight, quantity and value, so you can often add extra items to your basket with no extra shipping cost.
I will normally remove vinyl records from their covers to avoid splitting (unless sealed). CD's are sent out in padded jiffy-style bags or strong cardboard mailers.
I like to grade conservatively, as I do not want you to be disappointed with your order. Unlike other sellers (particularly drop-shippers), I would normally only grade something as near mint if it's had one owner from new and been hardly played. I also make great efforts to log the item under the correct release, by checking the runouts and photos on the Discogs database.
The majority of my records have been thoroughly cleaned and play tested (to spot any skips, surface noise etc), unless stated otherwise. I will also normally pop them in a clean polythene inner sleeve after cleaning (except for large clearance bundles or box sets).
I will accept returns for valid reasons (e.g. wrong item sent, arrived damaged, not as advertised) as long as they are sent back within 14 working days of receipt. Please contact me in the first instance, if you have an issue with your order.

Likewise, I do not have all my records up for sale on the website yet, so if there's a particular genre or artist you have in mind please let me know. I'm also interested in buying collections too, so feel free to let me know what you have!
